Superstar vendors, here we go!

Superstar vendors, here we go!

What a day the Tweed Wedding Trail was.

We were stoked to be setting the scene at Fins. (Ivy Road Photography)

We know. It seems to have taken us a while to get this blog together. Ok, it doesn’t just seem that way, it has taken us ages. But if you took part in Tweed Coast Weddings 2019 Tweed Wedding Trail – as a punter or a vendor – we reckon you’ve already forgiven us. ‘Cause that epic day sure took some recovering from.

Like you (the aforementioned ‘punter’ – well, that’s who we’re hoping is reading this badboy), but probably to a lesser extent, we had more than one glorious venue to be at on January 20, 2019. We’re not complaining. Hell no! What bloody flattery it is to be included on this multi-pronged event’s honour roll of wedding professionals. And to get the call up to two of the regions most awesome venues – well, shut ya lips – that was quite simply radness.

If your day’s gallivanting saw you swing by the beautiful Fins at Plantation House you’d have seen and, hopefully, heard us – the OG’sJake & Andy promoting our famed Celebrant+Soundtrack thang (ft. Andrew Michael Celebrant)

Should your Sunday drive have taken you to the incredible Mavis’s Kitchen (if not, we feel bad for you son) your ears would have been treated to the veritable treasure trove of sweet sounds provided by the day’s talented soloists – Dan, Tahlia & Coop – who were plugged in and representing our new brand J&A Events.

With their unique vibes and stunning locations, these two venues – Fins and Mavis’s – are two of the true jewels in the Tweed Coast Weddings venues crown. And helping to highlight their awesomeness, and show off their versatility even more on the day, was a list of Gold Coast, Tweed Coast and Byron Bay based wedding suppliers that any marrying couple would do well to employ.

Below are some pics snapped by the talented pro photogs (mass shakas to Nathan Lapham Photography and Ivy Road Photography) who were on-board for each venue in an official capacity. Plus one or two slightly less professional contributions. Where it’s clear who/what we’re looking at we’ve aimed to name-drop those relevant to each pic. But we’re also not blogsperts, so please let us know (and don’t take it personally) if we’ve eff’d up and made a glaring omission.

Head to the bottom for the list of legends that made the Tweed Wedding Trail such a bloody dream to be a part of.
